"Hauntingly beautiful" would be an undeniably appropriate description for Nick Olman's first full length dark ambient release, Smear Campaign. Unlike his previous experimental works, the album aims to be more focused in structure and tone.

The source of each track was limited to existing material within Nick's current library. The object was to "smear" these existing items beyond recognition, into a dark and disturbing journey full of haunting drones, unearthly instruments and desolate soundscapes, spiced ever so appropriately with percussion, voices and manipulation.

Being equally soothing and eerie, Smear Campaign creates a fantastic experience in a darkened room.
